If you are looking for an unusual way to design flowers you may want to watch this video series.
In this video series I am introducing you to Deco Beads…small polymers that absorb water many times it weight. The polymers are a great way to accent a floral arrangement or even use them alone as a decorative centerpiece. And, I show you how to do both in this DIY Flowers video series on designing flowers with Deco Beads.
Deco Beads are a trademark name for these water polymers. You can find them listed in many other names, but Deco Beads seem to be the most popular and that's the brand I have worked with the most. In my honest opinion, they all seem to be great to work with so I can't recommend one brand over another one.
In the first video you'll see how to start the process of getting your Deco Beads to expand to full size. Then, in the second video, I will show you three different ways you can use the Deco Beads to decorate for an upcoming party. And, the great thing…..this is very affordable. Actually, it's very inexpensive to get started with this.
You can purchase Deco Beads at almost any craft store. But, if you are living in a location where there is no craft store, or the store in your area doesn't carry Deco Beads, you can click on my affiliate link here and it will redirect you to pages that you can buy all of the Deco Beads you want and have them delivered to your home! Isn't that great…..you never have to leave the house and in a few days they are delivered to your doorstep! Here is the link: Deco Beads DB-W08 White 8-Ounce Jar
In the second video we talk about the submersible lights that you can put in the Deco Beads. Here is a link where you can find many varieties of those lights for your decorating needs: Fortune Products FB-1W Fairy Berries Magical LED Light, 3/4" Diameter, White (Case of 10)
